Knock Out Abuse

HSC employees participated in the Children’s Advocacy Center of Lawrence County’s “Knock out Abuse” event on Saturday 4/13/19. The event was held at New Castle Senior High School Field House that featured a Dodgeball Tournament with cash prizes, silent auction, and much more!! The event helps raise money to support efforts to keep kids safe while compasionately strengthening families in our community. National Crime Victims’ Rights Week

Human Services Center was proud to be part of the 1st annual Crime Victim Rights Community Awareness Day on Sunday, April 7th from 2pm-5pm. The Crisis Shelter of Lawrence County partnered with Krav Defense & Fitness Academy (KDF) to help raise awareness to our community on available resources and local organizations who support crime victims and help eradicate violence in our community! Bowl-a-Thon 2019

Human Services Center is a proud sponsor of the 2019 Bowl-a-Thon hosted by 1-2-1 Mentoring Lawrence County. The event takes place at Colonial Lanes in New Castle on Saturday, 4/6 from 12:30-4:00 PM, and includes an auction, a DJ, and family friendly activities. 1-2-1 is a volunteer program that matches adult mentors with youth between the ages of 6 and 15 who reside in single parent households. It takes a community!!
