|CLASSIFICATION||Information Technology Technician Jr|
Support – provide technical and training support for all computers, desk and mobile phones and office equipment. Add, move and change computer, phone and office equipment as directed by senior staff.
Problem Resolution – identify issue and use independent judgment to advise and or apply resolution. Requires using multiple resources and references and the appropriate application of IT professional knowledge, concepts and principles.
Business Partnership – establish familiarity with HSC operations in order to prioritize IT service requests. Can assist in defining appropriate business requirements and identifying technology solutions.
Work & Time Management – plan and manage own workload while meeting expected timelines and keeping senior staff apprised of status and outstanding issues. Identify potential issues before they occur and suggest ways to better accomplish assigned tasks. Maintain Information Technology Documentation and coordinate with vendors to resolve issues.
Security & Confidentiality – protect the integrity of data and equipment through physical and electronic measures. Maintain confidentiality for all internal HSC information, and ensure confidentiality for all clients and visitors.
Learning – maintain a current knowledge of deployed and new technology via self-study and training opportunities.
Attend all meetings and trainings as required.
Assist with special projects as needed.
Perform any related duties as requested by the Executive Director and/or his designee.
Reports to the Information Technology Director.
