CLASSIFICATIONPersonal Care Home Administrator
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties:

Responsible for adhering to all applicable regulations governing the operation of a personal care home.

Implementing and maintaining policies and procedures for the operation of a personal care home.

Oversees the operation and upkeep of the physical facility and grounds.

Insures that the facility and program meets the needs of the residents.

Supervises the work of the residential staff. Assist staff as necessary.

Maintains resident records.

Insures that all residents receive the appropriate medical and psychiatric care.

Provides supervision to and assists in the vocational programs.

Insures that new employees receive appropriate training.

Insures that all employees are current with required trainings, clearances and physicals.

Insures that the programs have effective treatment, social and recreational activities.

Will provide coverage for the staff call off phone.

This person will be assigned to Westfield and Caritas as needed.

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license

Will carry out the directives of the Housing Director and Assistant Housing Director.

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

PCH Administrator’s License or

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences and, within six months, must take and pass the 100 hour training course required to become a licensed Personal Care Home Administrator.

Must have all clearances including Act 34 criminal background and FBI Clearances

Must have a driver’s license

This person will be assigned to Westfield and Caritas as needed.
