CLASSIFICATIONFISCAL TECHNICIAN - PAYROLL
RESPONSIBILITIES:

This management level position is responsible for HSC’s Payroll on a bi-weekly basis in coordination with our external Payroll preparer. The person in this position will also complete the monthly administrative costs distribution; maintain the Rep Payee bank account; prepare bank deposits including an income breakdown report; complete monthly billing for schools, professional services, other charges; Reconciles Biweekly and monthly payroll reports; and maintain a petty cash fund approving vouchers for payment and reconciling fund on a monthly basis.

This position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

 

REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
• Accounting experience required, Payroll experience preferred.
• Computer experience in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
• Proven knowledge and experience with processes, systems, and technology regarding Accounting.
• Excellent organizational skills, regarding work habits, work assignments, etc.
• Use of independent judgment and the proper interpretations of policies, procedures, regulations, and the collective bargaining agreement.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public/co-workers.
• Ability to make complex arithmetic computations.
• Knowledge of modern office practices.
• Valid driver’s license
• FBI and PA Criminal Background Clearances
